Welcome to Garfield Primary School

Dear Families and Friends of the Peaceful Kingdom, It is with pleasure that I welcome you to the Garfield Primary School website. Ours is an extraordinarily busy and productive school with parents, students and staff that are absolutely committed to providing the very best in educational services to our community. We are quite proud of our school and the work that we do and are anxious to share with you those things that make ours a very special school. School News

We have just completed a very successful school year. Big THANKS to everyone in the Peaceful Kingdom. We truly have a special school!

Just because the regular school year has come to a close does not mean that learning should come to a close. Keep the kids engaged in as many structured activities as possible this Summer. The experiences will reap great benefits when school starts again in August. And, of course, be sure to have the kids pick up a book or two along the way. As we always say "Reading is Knowledge...Knowledge is POWER!!!

Don't forget that the first day of school will be Tuesday, August 26,
2008.  Students will be in session for 2 1/2 hours that day.  There
will be no heat schedule during the 2008-2009 school year.  Have a
wonderful summer!
